Before Aqua Vibes had a name, Riaan was at a point where he was not sure what direction to take. He spoke to the Lord and asked for guidance.
A few moments later, twelve yellow kayaks passed by. The timing, the colour and the movement stayed with him. That moment became the spark for what would eventually become Aqua Vibes.
Today, the bright yellow boat carries families, friends and visitors across Langebaan Lagoon. What started with one small moment has now become an experience shared by more than a thousand guests.

From your first WhatsApp message to the moment you step aboard, you deal directly with Riaan.
Riaan is the only skipper at Aqua Vibes. He answers your questions, keeps an eye on the weather, confirms when it is time to make payment and welcomes you at the water on the day of your trip.
That personal connection is a big part of the experience. If someone in your group has a special request or needs a little extra consideration, you can speak directly to Riaan and he will take it from there.

The boat is SAMSA certified and carries the required safety equipment for the trip.
Life jackets supplied
Life jackets are supplied for guests, with the essential safety basics ready before departure.
Weather checked
Every trip is weather permitting. Riaan confirms when conditions are suitable for the trip to go ahead.
Special requests
If someone has mobility, age or other special requirements, contact Riaan and he will assess what will work for that guest.
