Choose your group
Private trips are for 8 to 11 guests. Adults are R400 pp and children under 12 are R300 pp.
Choose a preferred date and time
Pick the date and your preferred 2-hour departure window. The time is a preference until Riaan confirms availability.
Riaan checks the conditions
Weather and lagoon conditions matter. Riaan checks whether the trip is suitable and confirms the final arrangements directly with you.
Payment follows confirmation
Only make payment once Riaan has confirmed the trip and tells you when to pay. Full payment confirms the booking.
11 guests? Riaan will confirm how the 11th-guest-free arrangement applies to your specific group before the final price is confirmed.

Two hours on the lagoon
A full 2-hour Aqua Vibes trip with your group together from departure through to return.
Scenic lagoon route
The route takes in Aqua Vibes favourites around Langebaan Lagoon, including the Yacht Club, Shark Bay, Kraalbaai, Preekstoel and Schaapen Island.
Beach stop
Around 30 minutes at a beach stop when conditions allow. High tide generally favours Preekstoel or Kraalbaai, while low tide may suit Shark Bay.
Swim if you want to
Guests are welcome to swim at the beach stop, including in winter if they feel like taking the plunge.
Riaan as your skipper
The same person you speak to when planning the trip is the skipper taking your group out on the lagoon.
Safety comes with the trip
Life jackets are supplied, the boat is SAMSA certified and the required safety equipment is carried on board.

Aqua Vibes follows a familiar lagoon route from Paaltjies and back again. The route stays consistent, while the tide helps Riaan choose the best place for the beach stop on the day.
Paaltjies / Alabama Slipway
Your trip starts here, where you meet Riaan and head out onto Langebaan Lagoon.
Yacht Club
The route passes the Yacht Club as you settle into the trip and leave the shoreline behind.
Shark Bay
A familiar part of the route, and a possible beach stop when the tide is low.
Kraalbaai + Preekstoel
Two of the standout scenic areas on the trip, with beach-stop options when the tide is high.
Schaapen Island + seals
The route continues past Schaapen Island, where marine life and the lagoon scenery add to the experience.
Back to Paaltjies
The trip returns to the same starting point, completing the two-hour Aqua Vibes route.

Private group bookings are designed for groups from 8 up to a maximum of 11 guests.
Arrive 10 minutes early
Give the group a little time to gather at Paaltjies before the trip is due to start.
Bring something warm
Conditions on the water can change, especially outside summer. It is worth bringing an extra layer.
Swimming is optional
If your group wants to swim at the beach stop, you can. Even in winter, the choice is yours.
Check before bringing a cooler
If you want to bring a small cooler box, check with Riaan first so he can confirm what is suitable for the trip.
Tell Riaan about special requests
For elderly guests, wheelchair users or other special requirements, speak to Riaan before the booking is finalised.
